I Just Met a Weirdo - 7

Climbing up higher into Dragonspiral Tower, I spotted the sage Jaro and some grunts. More battles huh?

"There's a less and less doubt that Lord N will be the hero." said the old man Jaro to the grunts who cheered right after.

"Is that so?" I asked, making all of them jump to the unknown visitor, moi.

"What?! You came all the way up here?! " cried the old man with an evil glare.

"Well duh! I came up here just to beat you guys! And trust me, it was hard work going up all these stairs! You better appreciate that!" I grumbled, breathing in an amount of air afterwards. I'll tell you, climbing all the way up Dragonspiral tower wasn't an easy thing to do.

"Minions, for the sake of Lord N, trap her!" Jaro ordered and the next thing I know, Team Plasma grunts were all over me. Guess I'm that popular huh?

"Oh so you're gonna beat me? Who wants to feel my wrath!? Come on who's first?!" I roared. I'm all up for a battle if that's what they want! Nothing's gonna get on my way!

"All but Team Plasma are enemies! We shall use all of our power to remove them!" Jaro exclaimed with anger, signaling them to attack.

I grinned, "GO SERPERIOR!"

Serperior appeared, roaring viciously at the grunts. They cringed slightly but didn't give up so easily. Two of them battled me with their Pokémon, but apparently that didn't even put a scratch to my Serperior.

"Serperior, finish it up with Leaf blade!" I yelled and the next thing they know is that they're Pokémon flying into the walls.

"UNBELIEVABLE! WE GOT BEAT BY A TWERP!" one grunt growled as the others screamed "PLAAAASMAAA!!!!" it's just weird that they scream that all the time if they lose. Hurts my ears too.

"I may be a twerp! But YOU just got beat by one! What's better, being a twerp or getting beat by one? OBVIOUSLY IT'S GETTING BEAT BY ONE, MORON!" I chuckled making the grunt growl even more.

"F-FOR NOW, you can go ahead.." they cringed, pacing back.

"Serperior!!!!"

"That's it, back off, or my Serperior will do that to you too!" I exclaimed patting Serperior's scaly body.

"And as for you old man…" I mused, trotting my way to the old man Jaro, who was clenching his teeth.

"As the hero, he shall lead the world! YES! And you trainers will part with your Pokémon!" he cried, adding an evil laugh.

I stared at him with a bored expression.

"I'll be going up now, grandpa." I mumbled turning around and taking the stairs.

"Oh, go ahead missy, and face the wrath…of the legendary Pokémon…" he whispered, chuckling evilly.

I sharpened my eyes and continued onward. As I reached the top, there was N, looking amazed at the unbelievable sight in front of him.

"W-W-What's that?!" I yelped unable to believe what I'm seeing. Is this the legendary Pokémon he keeps talking about? Zekrom?

N turned around and smirked at me.

"Well Touko? Zekrom has shown himself for the hero who will guide the world. Together, we will fight to bring reassurance to all Pokémon!" he exclaimed, chuckling evilly.

Man I've had it with the evil chuckling.

"And now I will head to the Pokémon league with Zekrom, thereupon we shall put an end to the Pokémon battles that wound Pokémon so a world of only Pokémon…it shall finally be realized!" he continued to claim, ordering Zekrom to fly up in the sky, which it obediently did.

I can't believe he got to train that Pokémon so easily..I MEAN IT'S A LEGENDARY for Pete's sake.

He turned back to me and turned red suddenly.

"If you wish to stop us, y-you too can be a hero." he mumbled, rubbing his back awkwardly.

He's good at mood changing. Seriously.

"What?" I asked dumbfounded.

"Go seek out Reshiram, the Pokémon paired with Zekrom. Then, you can stop us." he explained, with a serious tone.

"W-wait! Why do you want me to stop you?! I thought you wanted to finish this and get everybody's Pokémon? Why help me, stop you?!." I proclaimed, utterly confused. He turned red again. N was flustering alright, which is totally confusing me.

"I-I offer a challenge to you who walks with Pokémon and earns their trust!" he stammered.

"Eh?"

"Can you put up an opposition to the formula that will change to world? If you wish to preserve the bonds between people and Pokémon, search out Reshiram! She surely awaits you in the form of the Light Stone..so um..go find her and challenge me!"

"Reshiram huh…" I mused.

"I will be waiting…Tokou." he muttered, his cheeks tinting red. And suddenly Zekrom swooped down to fetch him. The harsh wind, blowing me backwards in the process.

"WAIT! N!" I called but was too late. He did seem to have turned around and my voice though. But they were too far away now. That dragon is pretty fast despite his gigantic body.

"Challenge? If he really wanted to finish this up, he wouldn't take any chances…something's up. I think this is a trap. Do you think so too Serperior?" I asked.

"Ser?"

"But then again, he was acting weirdly…maybe he does want me to challenge him? Either way, getting Reshiram isn't a bad idea…" I told myself.

"Touko!!" Cheren's familiar voice suddenly called. "What was that flying thing?" he then asked when he approached me, together with Hachiku.

"That, gentlemen, was Zekrom." I answered, as I glanced back at the small retreating figure in the sky.

"What on earth..?!" Hachiku jumped running off near the edge to take a better look.

"Was that N just now? How was he with the legendary Pokémon?" Cheren asked frantically.
"Yep. And I do not know." I answered again, thoughtfully.

"He couldn't be called a hero, could he?!" Cheren asked again. "And did I hear him telling you to search out a legendary Pokémon?!"

ENOUGH WITH THE QUESTIONGS DAMMIT!

I shrugged,instead tired of his annoying questions.

"Calm down, Cheren. Let's head back down first and clear up what's happened and decide what to do next." Hachiku said, rolling his eyes at him.

I nodded curtly at him and led the way back down. Cheren groaned.

N…what are you planning this time?
